Joni and Friends Central California will be partnering with Action Community Church to host a respite care day to support parents of children affected by disability. On Sat., Nov. 25th parents will be able to trust their special needs child (ages 1-21) and their siblings (ages 1-14) into the hands of trained volunteers ready and willing to care for them. The purpose of Rest Assured is to give parents free time to go Christmas shopping, go on a date, watch a movie, grab coffee, or just take a nap!

How you can get involved…

Let us serve you! If you have a child with a disability between the ages of 1 and 21 and would like a night off, please contact us. We would love to care for your children and give you some much deserved free time.

Volunteer! Volunteers are the heart of this program, and we need more. If you are over the age of 17 and are willing to serve we can use you! Special training will be provided prior to (for those who haven’t completed it before), and we will place you in a position that you are most comfortable serving.
