When Jesus was comforting the disciples about his departure, he told them that it was “good” for them that he was going away, but how could this be? How could losing the physical presence of Jesus in their lives be… good? He goes on to explain, that it will be good because he will send another who will be with them… another who will advocate for them… another who will comfort them… another who will empower them to be His witnesses. This “holy other” is the Holy Spirit and when we read the book of Acts we see that it is a book all about Him!
